The Instructor
Hello! I’m Cassandra—though most call me Cassie. I’m a Pinckney native with a deep love for art, architecture, woodworking, resin, photography, and travel. With years of study in art and architecture, I’ve built a range of skills I truly enjoy sharing with others. I previously managed a non-profit art studio and makerspace, gaining invaluable experience in inspiring creativity across various media. I like to think of my workshops as a “Pinterest come to life,” where I provide the materials, tools, and guidance needed for participants to craft projects that showcase their unique style and taste. While I’m always ready to offer step-by-step instructions if needed, my main goal is to spark individual creativity. Often, those who doubt their own creative abilities end up producing the most incredible pieces—and that joy and pride are what drive my passion to keep doing this work.

The She Shed
The She Shed is my personal (and messy!) workshop in my garage, where I use my passion for woodworking to create projects, your canvas of sorts, for you to make fun and unique pieces. Most of my classes focus on wood-based projects that I carefully design and create ensuring your project, once your finishing touches are made, are truly special and unique.
